MTHWAKAZI BRANDS is a non-political, non-racist, and non-tribal, business development and investment platform, that is grounded and focused on Mthwakazi and abaThwakazi. We are a movement that is focused on economic empowerment of Mthwakazi and abaThwakazi.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
OUR OBJECTIVE is to create, manage, and service companies, using a methodology that allows abaThwakazi bonke jikelele, to OWN various businesses that you will see operating within and outside of Mthwakazi. Every sector is in focus; Mining, Farming, Transportation, Engineering, ICT, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Healthcare, Retail, etc.
IDEAS come from members. They are discussed, researched, and worked through, by the members. Experts in the field are then consulted, and in many cases, they too become co-owners of the business that gets created.
Once a BUSINESS has been created, a team that includes sector-specific experts and a Chartered Accountant, will then proceed and create a FUNDING MODEL.
AbaThwakazi are then invited to fund their brand NEW business. This is mostly through purchase of shares.
Effectively, abaThwakazi become OWNERS of the businesses that are created! Now, that is TRUE EMPOWERMENT!
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
We have TWO options for abaThwakazi;
- SHAREHOLDERS: AbaThwakazi have the opportunity to become shareholders in the businesses that Mthwakazi Brands builds, partners with, or acquires. This is done by purchasing shares in the Mthwakazi Brands ventures.
- WORKERS: Naturally, the businesses that we run need workers, meaning that some of our people have already gained employment in our businesses. Perhaps more importantly, we encourage every one of our people, including workers, to buy shares in Mthwakazi Brands.
In the end, all of us will become owners of the businesses that we run or work in.
